Hello!
I'm Alec, sculptor.
My art captures moments. My current focus lies in creating intricate portraits, figures, and masks molded in clay and cast in plaster, which bring my subjects to life.
I'm based in Northeast Los Angeles.

Imagery in my work is intentionally and unintentionally inspired by my daily encounters with commercialism, media and influences from my lived experience of half-Thai, American heritage.
My journey as an artist began with an exploration of light with glass and neon in Autumn 2021. In Spring 2023, I realized I didn't have the facility to carry out all my ideas and visions, so I started drawing, painting and sculpting for practice. This transition marked a new chapter in my practice, one where I could more deeply connect with raw expression, iterate and improve more quickly and cheaply.
