30 for 30, Day 15

Ahead of my 30th birthday on April 27, 1994, I set out to make 30 sculptural sketches within 30 days. This is day 15.

I went to LACMA this day and noticed that many sculptors of a certain era did not attempt to make eyeballs. I wanted to understand how to make my people see without eyes, so for the next few days, they have only sockets.

This day, I also attempted a more feminine face, though still gaunt and similar to others in this series.
